Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026  ·  Effective for all versions of MyBattery

Short version: MyBattery is a personal productivity and wellness tool, not a medical product. Use it to support your wellbeing — not as a substitute for professional care. Your data is yours. Be kind to yourself.

Acceptance

By using MyBattery (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users, including those using the app in guest mode.

What MyBattery is

MyBattery is a personal energy management and productivity app designed to help you track your capacity, manage tasks, and support your mental wellbeing.

MyBattery is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. The mental health screening tools (PHQ-9, GAD-7) are for personal awareness only — not clinical assessment. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or call/text 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

Your account

You may use MyBattery as a guest (data stored locally on your device) or by creating an account with Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

You must be at least 13 years old to use MyBattery. By using the App, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Your content

You own your data. Tasks, journal entries, mood logs, and other content you create remain yours. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

By using the AI Coach feature, you grant us permission to send relevant portions of your data (task list, current battery level) to Google Gemini solely to generate your requested response. This data is not stored by us beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Subscriptions & payments

Some features of MyBattery may require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the billing period.

Disclaimers

MyBattery is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific needs. Use of wellness features does not substitute for professional medical or mental health advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyBattery and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any decisions made based on App content or AI-generated suggestions.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Account → Delete My Account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you within the App if changes are material. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
